Salvia aethiopsis (Mediterranean sage)
Salvia athiopsis is an interesting specimen plant and safe to grow here, in Atlantic Canada, now, but is considered an invasive weed in the western US States and must be controlled. Here it is reliable biennial and never reproduces from self-sowed seed. So far.
